Using Accessibility Controls
Zoho Assist’s accessibility controls enable an inclusive and optimal working experience for users of all abilities. From customizable interface settings to advanced focus features, these controls empower every user to work effectively and independently. This ensures that Zoho Assist is adaptable to diverse needs, creating an equitable workspace where each agent can thrive.
The accessibility controls are categorized into four sections: Vision, Hearing, and Mobility.
Vision
Reading Mask
Reading Mask can improve focus by spotlighting the area that the user is hovering over, while graying out the background screen. This helps users read or work without distraction and can be specially beneficial for people who suffer from dyslexia and ADHD.
Focus Ring
Focus Ring introduces a visible border to the element that has a keyboard focus. This is particularly beneficial for users with visual impairments. Users can activate this function to identify the focused element with ease.
Underline Links
When you want to give the users useful additional context, you use links to direct them to another page. Underlining those links will let users know they will be led to another page. The underline adds visual prominence to the link, which helps people tonly click on a link when they intend to. For colorblind users, the underline is the best way to communicate the existence of a hyperlink.
Text Enhancer
Text elements throughout the interface will be refined to enhance readability and accessibility, incorporating improved letter and word spacing. These adjustments align with WCAG guidelines, ensuring that users, including those with visual or cognitive impairments, experience a higher-quality, more accessible content display. This enhancement aims to reduce eye strain, improve comprehension, and create a more inclusive user experience.
Hearing
Screen reader
Zoho Assist is fully compatible with screen readers, providing seamless support for users with vision impairments to deliver effective support without any accessibility barriers.
Mobility
Keyboard Shortcuts
Zoho Assist users can execute tasks, access key pages, and manage sessions efficiently using keyboard shortcuts. Pressing Cmd+F5 for Mac OS devices and Ctrl+Windows Key+Enter for Windows OS devices, displays the list of available shortcuts, making it easy to perform operations without relying on a mouse.
Page Navigator
Users can quickly move between different sections of a page using keyboard navigation tools. Alternatively, users can directly invoke it by clicking the invoke button or by using the shortcut G + T.
Within the Page Navigator menu, agents can:
