Advanced Analytics for Jotform

Advanced Analytics for Jotform enables you to understand the preferences and opinions of the targeted audience, gauge satisfaction and engagement rates, spot strategies that are well received and area that may need improvement.

Setup

A user with administrator privileges (Account and Org Admins) can configure the connection. The credentials of the Administrator who set up the connector, will be used for establishing any connections with source application by other administrators.

Note: The initial fetch might take a few minutes depending on the volume of the data to be imported. An email and an in-app notification will be sent, once the initial fetch is complete.

Data Sync Frequency

Zoho Analytics offers flexible sync schedules to ensure that your data is always up-to-date for effective analysis. These schedules allow you to automate the process of updating your data, ensuring that your analyses are based on the latest information.

  • 6 Hours
  • 12 Hours
  • Every day

Data Sync Failure

Data synchronization can fail due to the following reasons:

  • General Reasons 
    • Initial Fetch Failure
    • Authentication Failure
    • Insufficient Permission
    • Pricing Plan Mismatch
  • Changes in the selected modules or fields
    • Selected Modules or Fields deleted in the Jotform application

    • Permission revoked for the selected modules or fields

    • Data Type Mismatch
       
      In the case of any changes in the selected modules or fields, the data sync will be paused. To resume the data synchronization, you can delete or restructure the views, or restore the specific modules and fields from the source application.


In case of a sync failure, you will be notified via email and in-app notification, with the reason for sync failure along with its solution. You can also view the sync failure details in the Data Sources page. Refer to more about data sync failure and its solutions for more details.

Manage Data Source

The Data Sources tab provides fundamental connection details of the Jotform business application like sync status, reason for sync failure if any. It also enables you to modify the connection setup as needed. The Account Admin and the Organization Admins will be able to access this tab.

To Access the Data Source tab,

  1. Open the Jotform Advanced Analytics Workspace.
  2. Click the Data Sources tab from the side navigation panel.

The Data Source permalink helps you easily access the data source tab, and this link can be pasted in dashboards to stay informed about the synchronization status.

Edit Setup

The Edit Setup tab allows you to add or delete modules or fields, change the schedule interval, and modify other settings specific to the business application.

Re-authenticate

Zoho Analytics allows you to re-authenticate the connection details if there are any changes in the credentials. The Administrator who created the setup can re-authenticate.

Sync History

The Sync History tab provides information about the status of each data sync for the last 45-days. The date when the data sync has happened will be highlighted. Hover to view the number of times the data had got synced on a specific date.

  • Time - Displays the time when the data is synced.
  • Status - Shows whether the sync was a success or a failure.In case of failure, the reason will be displayed. Refer to this page to learn how to resolve the issue and avoid further failure.

Audit History 

Zoho Analytics logs all the user activities and system events within the Jotform workspace. Click Audit history from the data sources tab to view the activities for the last 180 days.

The following are the actions that are logged in Zoho Analytics.

  • User Action: Create, Modules Added, Modules Removed, Fields Added, Fields Removed,Schedule Change and, Entities Modified,Delete, Take Ownership, Re-authenticate, Sync Now, Retry.
  • System Action: Plan upgrade or downgrade.

Remove Data Source

Zoho Analytics allows you to remove the integration if needed. Removing the integration will suspend further data synchronization. Click the Settings icon in the Data Sources tab, and select Remove Data Source from the listed options.

Data Blending 

Zoho Analytics allows you to combine data from various sources such as Files, Feeds, Databases and business applications for in-depth analysis. With Query Tables, you can combine data from different tables and create reports over the same. Zoho Analytics auto identifies similar columns and provides suggestions for lookup while importing.
