Microsoft Power Automate Integration with Zoho Calendar
Microsoft Power Automate previously known as Microsoft Flow is a cloud automation tool that helps users to create workflows to automate repetitive tasks. These workflows help a user connect different applications and services with the help of connectors. Zoho Calendar integration with Microsoft Power Automate gives you the power to manage your calendar and automate repetitive actions such as creating, editing, and deleting events by creating workflows using an action trigger model.
Prerequisites
- A verified Zoho Calendar account. Click here to create your first account.
- An active Microsoft Power account
Integrating your Zoho Calendar with MS Power automate
To create a new connection:
- Log in to your Power Automate account and, Go to Connections on the left menu.
- Search and select Zoho Calendar.
- Select the domain where your Zoho account resides.
- Enter your Zoho Calendar credentials.
- Even if the power app is shared with another user, they should create a new connection to start using it.
Zoho Calendar API uses OAuth2.0 to authenticate and hence no secondary authentication is required once the account has been set up.
Supported actions
The connector supports the following actions:
- Create new event- Adds a new event to the users' calendar.
- Delete event- Deletes an event from the users' calendar.
- Get event- Gets the details of a particular event from a specified calendar of the user.
- Search Events- Gets the list of events across all calendars.
- Update Event- Updates an existing event in a user's calendar.
Supported Triggers
The connector supports the following triggers:
- New event notification- When a new event is added to a calendar.
- Update event notification- When an event is updated to a calendar.
- Delete event notification- When an event is deleted from a calendar
Creating workflows using Zoho Calendar Connector
You can follow the steps below to connect to Zoho Calendar :
- Login to your Power Automate account and click Create from the left menu.
- You can choose to create either a cloud flow, desktop flow, or business flow based on your preference.
- Cloud flows: Cloud flows help you automate your triggers instantly, via a schedule or automatically.
- Desktop flows: Desktop flows help create workflows on your desktop.
- Business process flows: Business process flows enable you to streamline your tasks within your organization.
- To connect to the Zoho Calendar, choose the automated cloud flow.
- Choose Start from blank to create a connection from scratch.
- Enter your desired flow name and choose the trigger.
- In the 'Build an Instant cloud flow' pop-up, choose Manually trigger a flow or any other triggers from the list provided and click Create. The trigger for the flow will be created.
- Click on the + icon and choose Add an action.
- In the actions tab, search for Zoho Calendar.
- Choose the action required from the provided list of actions.
- Click save to add the action. Your flow will be created. You can test it by clicking the Test button on the top right.
