Enabling email forwarding
You can forward emails from your service provider to Zoho TeamInbox either by enabling email forwarding or by using your POP account credentials. If you want to do this by enabling email forwarding, copy the address generated by TeamInbox and add it to your provider so the emails can be forwarded to your inbox in TeamInbox. It is advisable that you choose to save a copy of the forwarded email in your mailbox also.
Instructions for the major email providers are given below.
Zoho Mail
- In your Zoho Mail account, click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Navigate to the Mail accounts section.
- Under the Forwards section, paste the address copied from Zoho TeamInbox.
- A confirmation code will be sent as an email to your inbox in Zoho TeamInbox.
- Copy the confirmation code and go back to the settings page in Zoho Mail where you've added email forwarding. Paste the code there and click Confirm.
Gmail
- In your Gmail account, select Settings from the icon in the top right corner.
- Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
- Under the Forwarding section, click Add a forwarding address.
- Paste the address copied from TeamInbox. Click Next.
- Gmail will open a confirmation popup. Click Proceed.
- A confirmation code will be sent as an email to your inbox in Zoho TeamInbox.
- Copy the confirmation code and go back to the settings page in Gmail where you've added email forwarding. Paste the code there and click Verify.
- Select the option Forward a copy of incoming mail to and select Zoho TeamInbox's forwarding address.
- Click Save Changes.
Outlook
- In your Outlook account, click View all Outlook settings from the icon in the top right corner.
- Select Mail and then select Forwarding.
- Check the Enable Forwarding option.
- Paste the address copied from Zoho TeamInbox under Forward my email to.
- Click Save.
Outlook connected to Microsoft Exchange server
- In your Outlook window, click Rules from the toolbar and select Edit rules.
- Click the Plus icon at the bottom-right corner of the Rule Dialog box.
- Enter a name for your rule.
- From the drop-down menu under When a new message arrives, select All messages.
- From the drop-down menu under Do the following, select Forward to and paste the address copied from Zoho TeamInbox.
- Make sure the Enabled option is checked.
- Click OK.
Yahoo mail
- In your Yahoo Mail account, click the Settings icon and click More Settings.
- Click Mailboxes from the left pane.
- Under Mailbox list, select the mailbox from which you want to forward emails.
- Navigate to the Forwarding section and paste the address copied from Zoho TeamInbox.
- Click Verify.
- A confirmation email will be sent to your inbox in Zoho TeamInbox.
- Click the verification link in the email and your forwarding address will be verified by Yahoo.
Rackspace
- Login to your Rackspace, click your profile name in the top-right corner, and click Settings.
- Select Incoming Email from the left pane.
- Select the Forwarding tab.
- Select the On option under Status.
- Paste the address copied from Zoho TeamInbox.
- Click Save.
Apple mail web
- In Mail on icloud.com, click the Settings icon at the bottom-left corner, and select Preferences.
- Under the General tab, check the Forward my email to option and paste the address copied from Zoho TeamInbox.
- Click Done.
GoDaddy
- In your GoDaddy account, go to My Products and navigate to the Additional Products section.
- Click Redeem next to Email Forwarding.
- Select your domain and click Redeem Credit.
- Navigate to Workspace Email section and click Manage All.
- Click the Create tab and click Forwarding.
- Under Forward this email address, enter the email address you want to forward emails from.
- Under To these email addresses, paste the address copied from TeamInbox.
- Select an appropriate forwarding plan.
- Click Create.
