Notification preferences

Set your notification preferences to always stay informed about everything happening in your Zoho TeamInbox organization. You can choose to be notified via email, mobile and Zoho Cliq. To control the number of notifications you receive, you can select the events at which you'd want to be notified about.
 

Enable desktop notification

Turn this option on to be notified about incoming messages and other activities even when on a different tab on your browser. Make sure that you have allowed notifications for the application in your browser.
  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox.
  2. Click the Settings icon on the top right corner and select Notification Preference under Personal settings.
  3. Toggle the button next to Desktop notification to enable it.

Enable email notification

Receive notifications about Zoho TeamInbox activities in your registered email. To enable email notification:
  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox.
  2. Click the Settings icon on the top right corner and select Notification Preference under Personal settings.
  3. Toggle the button next to Email notification to enable it.
  4. Select the occasions for which you want to receive notifications.

Enable mobile notification

Receive push notifications on your mobile about the activities happening here. Make sure you have the Zoho TeamInbox mobile app installed in your device. To enable mobile notification:
  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox .
  2. Click the  Settings  icon on the top right corner and select Notification Preference under Personal settings.
  3. Toggle the button next to Mobile notification to enable it.
  4. Select the occasions for which you want to receive notifications.

Enable Cliq notification

Subscribe to the notifications bot in Zoho Cliq to receive real-time alerts whenever there is a new activity in your Zoho TeamInbox organization.  

Install notification bot for Zoho TeamInbox

Only the Cliq admin, regardless of their role in Zoho TeamInbox, can install the Notifications Bot. Once installed, any member can subscribe to the bot.
To install bot,
  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox .
  2. Click the  Settings  icon on the top right corner and select  Notification Preference  under Personal settings.
  3. Click Install and Subscribe next to Bot notifications on Cliq.
  4. Select the occasions for which you want to receive notifications.
   To receive alerts you should have Extensions enabled in Zoho Cliq. 

Subscribe to notification bot

When the Cliq admin has installed the bot for your organization, every user can subscribe to it and get alerts in their Cliq.
 
To subscribe,
  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox .
  2. Click the  Settings  icon on the top right corner and select  Notification Preference  under Personal settings.
  3. Click Subscribe next to Bot notifications on Cliq.
  4. Select the occasions for which you want to receive notifications. 
  1. If the bot is not already installed, click on Request to send a request to your Cliq admin. Once they've installed, you will be notified via Cliq, you can then subscribe to the bot.
  2. Extensions in Zoho Cliq should be enabled to receive alerts. If not, contact your Cliq admin to enable it.
 

Uninstalling notification bot

You can uninstall the bot only from Zoho Cliq. In Zoho Cliq's Extensions page, search for Zoho TeamInbox and click Uninstall. Learn how to uninstall Extensions in Zoho Cliq.
 
Only a Zoho Cliq admin can uninstall an Extension.
