Datacenter migration in Zoho People

When you create a Zoho account (including a Zoho People account), all your information is stored in one of Zoho's data centers (DC). Zoho automatically assigns a DC based on your location, determined by your IP address. After your Zoho account is created, all your data remains exclusively stored in the designated DC and cannot be transferred to another geographical location based on the location of access.

List of Zoho People data centers and their corresponding URLs:

  • US : people.zoho.com
  • EU : people.zoho.eu
  • IN : people.zoho.in
  • JP : people.zoho.jp
  • CA: people.zohocloud.ca
  • CN : people.zoho.com.cn
  • AU : people.zoho.com.au

Due to regulations and geopolitical situations, if there is a need to transfer your data to another data center, you can now raise a request for datacenter migration. However, it is imperative that you understand the limitations for a clearer picture.
