1. Who is defined as the Account Administrator?  

The Account Administrator is the person who owns the Zoho Analytics account, and has the authority to perform all possible operations available. There can only be one Account Administrator for an account. Only an Account Administrator can manage the account subscription. 

2. Who are the other administrators in Zoho Analytics?

To enable effective collaboration and easy account management, the following Administrator roles are supported in Zoho Analytics. 

Organization Administrators and Workspace Administrators are supported from the Standard Plan and above. 

3. How many administrators can I have in my account?

You can add as many users provided in your pricing plan as Administrators. 

Zoho Analytics pricing will be calculated by number of users added in your account and not by the role. 

4. What are the user roles supported in Zoho Analytics?

The following are the supported user roles in Zoho Analytics.

  • Account Administrator - Account Administrator is the person who owns the Zoho Analytics account and has the authority to perform all possible operations available. There can only be one Account Administrator for an account.
  • Organization Administrators - Organization Administrators are the Administrators of the organization in Zoho Analytics. Account Administrator can add multiple Organization Administrators to an Organization.
    An Organization Administrator can perform all the operations inside their Organization except managing other Organization Administrators.
  • Workspace Administrators - Each Zoho Analytics account can contain unlimited number of Workspaces (read more about Workspaces). Workspace Administrators are the Administrators of specific Workspaces in an Organization. Workspace Administrators can be added by the Account Administrator and Organization Administrators.
    A Workspace Administrator can perform all the operations in a Workspace, except renaming, deleting, or backing up the Workspace.
  • Users - Shared Users are users with access to specific views shared to them by one of the Administrators. They can perform operations that are granted to them by the Administrators over the shared views. 
  • Viewers - Viewers are users with read only access to specific views shared to them by one of the Administrators. 
  • Custom Role - Custom Roles are account level roles that can be defined with a customized set of permissions for your users. You can define fine-grained permissions for each custom role you create, based on your specific needs. Users associated to these custom roles inherit all the defined permissions over the workspaces shared with them.

5. My Account Administrator has resigned/left the company. Can I make another user in my company as the Account Administrator?

You can transfer the account data to one of the Organization Administrators if you still have access to the Account Administrator account. 
Follow the below steps to transfer your account.

  1. Login as the Account Administrator.
  2. Open the Organization Settings page.
  3. Click the Change Ownership link next to the Owner's mail address.
  4. The Change Ownership dialog will open. Choose the new Account Administrator from the Choose New Account Admin drop-down. 
  5. Click the Send Request. An account transfer request will be sent to the specified administrator. 
  6. Login to the Organization Administrator account. 
  7. The Organization Administrator gets a notification to accept the account transfer. 
  8. Click Accept. The account will be transferred to the new user.

In case you do not have access to the Account Administrator account, write to us at support@zohoanalytics.com. We'll validate your case and then transfer the data to your account. 

6. How to sign up an account for Zoho Analytics?  

You can create a Zoho Analytics account in less then sixty seconds by just filling up the Sign Up form.

7. Can I change my primary Email address?  

Yes, you can change your primary email address, and set one of your secondary email addresses as primary.
To change primary email address:

  1. Login to https://accounts.zoho.com using your Zoho Analytics credentials. 
  2. In the Email Address tab of the Profile section, click the Add Email Address link.
  3. Add the new email address. It will be added as a secondary email address. 
  4. Click Make Primary link adjacent to the secondary email address.
  5. Click the Make Primary button and enter your account password.
  6. A confirmation mail will be sent to your new email address. You can also resend the mail by clicking the Resend Confirmation Mail.
  7. Confirm the email address following the steps provided in the confirmation mail. Now, the secondary email address will be set as the primary address of your account. The old email address will be set as secondary email address.
  8. In case you want to remove the old email address, then click the Remove link adjacent to the email address to delete it.

8. How do I change my password?

You can change your password by following the steps given below:

  1. Login to https://accounts.zoho.com using your Zoho Analytics credentials. 
  2. Open the Password tab of the Security section.
  3. Click the Change Password button.
  4. Enter the current password for confirmation.
  5. Enter the new password twice and then click Save.
  6. Your password will be changed.

9. Where can I get more details about My Account?

You can get all details about My Account from the Organization settings page. 

  1. Login to your Zoho Analytics account.
  2. Click the Setup icon at the top right.
  3. The Organization Settings page will open. You can find your account details here. This page also allows you to customize the organization as needed. 

Pricing

1. How much does Zoho Analytics cost?  

The pricing for Zoho Analytics starts at $24/month, when billed annually. This supports 2 users, 0.5 million rows & unlimited Workspaces in the account. There are various plans ranging till $455/month when billed annually.
Zoho Analytics also offers an Always Free Plan ($0) targeted at small end reporting requirements. It supports 2 users, 5 Workspaces and 10,000 rows in your account.

2. Do you offer free version of Zoho Analytics?  

Zoho Analytics offers an Always Free Plan ($0) targeted at small end reporting requirements. It offers the following capabilities:

  • Supports 2 users (Account Administrator + 1 shared user) in your account
  • Create a maximum of 5 Workspaces
  • Supports up to 10,000 rows in your account.
  • Setup up to 3 Scheduled Data Imports in your account, to periodically fetch data from publicly accessible Web URLs (website links)
  • Create up to 3 SQL Query Tables in your account
  • Call 1,000  API units per day
  • HTTPS (SSL) support for secured access.

3. Why should I go for priced plans? What are the benefits in using the priced service?  

The priced plans allow you to store more data (more number of rows) and share the views in Zoho Analytics with more number of users based on your plan. Also, it offers a wide range of value added features, which include:

You can control access to data/views in your organization by applying appropriate security restrictions for your organization. Refer to the Security Controls page for more details.

The Zoho Analytics user interface language selection is based on the locale setting in the user`s browser. In case you have a different language setting in your browser, you can change it from the Zoho Accounts page. You may have to wait for 10 minutes, or logout and login again, for the language change to be effective in the user interface.

2. Can I rebrand Zoho Analytics?

Zoho Analytics does supports logo rebranding in Premium and Enterprise plans.
Administrator of the Zoho Analytics account can replace the Zoho Analytics logo appearing on the Home page with a custom own logo and specify a URL of the page to be linked form the new logo.

Zoho Analytics also allows you to customize the 'Powered by Logo' that appears in the footer (of the report/dashboard) when you embed or export the report.

Zoho Analytics also offers a full-fledged white labeling solution. With the white labeled solution, you can completely re-brand Zoho Analytics to serve from your custom domain (URL), in your own brand, seamlessly to your users. This enables application developers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and solution providers to integrate powerful reporting & business intelligence capabilities into their applications/products seamlessly. Collaboration

1. Who can access my organization?

Only users you have added to your organization can access your organization. They will be able to perform only the actions that you have granted. 

2. Can I define my own permissions for my users?

Yes, you can define your own set of permissions for your users, using the Custom Role option.
