Life at Zoho
What is your current role within the company?
Chief Information Officer.
What were your expectations when you started and how have they changed over time?
I worked as a structural engineer and a lecturer before Zoho. I had health issues and took a break for a year. My doctor suggested that I change my profession to IT - an industry that I disliked a lot back then!
I was referred to AdventNet by one of my students who was working at Zoho. When I joined, I realized that a few of my college juniors and my students were also here. I had no expectations from day one.
What role does Zoho’s company culture play in your identity and the work that you do?
AdventNet changed my entire character. Before joining here, I was a rough and harsh person. I learnt the quality of politeness from here and Kumar Vembu played a major role in that.
What does your work space currently look like?
For years, my workplace would have more papers and writing pads with a lot of numbers and calculations on them.
