Notification Preferences

Admins can configure notification preferences so that approvers are notified after transactions are submitted for approval, and submitters are notified when the transactions are approved or rejected.

Notify Approvers

Admins can set up preferences such that the approvers will be notified every time a transaction is submitted for approval. The approvers will receive in-app and email notifications.

To notify approvers:

  • Go to Settings in the top right corner of the page.
  • Navigate to the module for which you want to configure the notification.
  • Click the Approvals tab.
  • Check Send email notifications when transactions are submitted for approval under Notification Preferences.
  • Select the preferred option. (This is only applicable for Simple Approval.)
  • Click Save.

Note: If you’ve configured Multi-Level Approval, the notification will be first sent to the first approver (Level 1 approver). Once they approve, a notification will be sent to the next approver (Level 2 approver). Likewise, the notification will be sent to all the subsequent approvers who are a part of the multi-level approval process.

Notify Submitters

To notify the submitter when a transaction is approved or rejected:

  • Go to Settings in the top right corner of the page.
  • Navigate to the module for which you want to configure the notification.
  • Click the Approvals tab.
  • Check Notify the submitter when a transaction is approved under Notification Preferences.
  • Click Save.
