We’ve always been fans of Zoho, and I got really excited seeing the very first demo of Zoho Contracts. It is a powerful tool with advanced features while also being simple and easy to use. It is all thought through well.

Quick implementation

DocuSign CLM comes with high implementation costs. In one DocuSign CLM user’s words on the review website G2: “The initial setup was a nightmare. It was confusing and took nearly a year while we paid for the service but could not use it.”

Conversely, Tina Fidanza, general counsel at Loylogic, has had a completely different experience with Zoho Contracts. “We were able to quickly set up Zoho Contracts with just a little help from our account manager. The tool is refreshingly straightforward to use, and we’ve already imported our key contracts.”

Transparent pricing

Everything you need to know about our pricing can be found here. We not only elaborate on the features you receive for each plan, but we also offer a detailed plan comparison chart to help you make the right decision. DocuSign CLM, however, doesn’t provide transparent pricing. You’ll need to contact sales to get a quote. What you pay for the software varies based on the number of contracts you sign, as opposed to per user. In most scenarios, this could translate to higher cost to the company than Zoho Contracts.

Simple design

Simplicity is at the core of our design. Our straightforward workflow ensures you only see data that’s relevant to your current stage in the contract lifecycle. This eliminates clutter, so you’re not overwhelmed with too much data at once. On the other hand, DocuSign’s user experience is not very smooth, based on the software’s user reviews on platforms such as TrustRadius, Gartner, and G2.

“We’re delighted with the simplicity and functionalities of Zoho Contracts. We were able to self-navigate and start managing contracts effortlessly. The smart dashboard gives us a bird’s eye view of all our activities. And the platform has eliminated the information silos between our Legal and Procurement teams. It’s truly transformed our contract management process.”

Detailed knowledge-base and documentation

Several users on the Gartner review site commented on how a step-by-step guide would add value to their user experience with DocuSign CLM. Zoho Contracts has a detailed User Guide and Admin Guide, apart from live and recorded webinars and user education videos that make your adoption experience seamless. We also offer hands-on support to answer all your questions.

Time-to-value free trial (ROI)

We offer a 15-day free trial, after which you are moved to our free plan. You can access all of the features available for your chosen pricing plan during the free trial. On the other hand, DocuSign offers a 30-day free trial but doesn’t allow you to access most of the features that come with the CLM. Their free trial is centered more on DocuSign eSignature than the CLM. Thus, with us, you know what you’re getting for the price you pay.
