Zoho Apptics - Terms of Use

ZOHO APPTICS, AN APPLICATION ANALYTICS SERVICE THAT ENABLES YOU TO TRACK THE IN-APP USAGE AND PERFORMANCE OF APPLICATIONS BUILT ON IOS, MACOS, TVOS, WATCHOS, ANDROID, REACT NATIVE, FLUTTER, AND WINDOWS PLATFORMS, IS PROVIDED TO YOU OR THE ENTITY THAT YOU REPRESENT (HEREINAFTER "YOU" OR "YOUR") BY ZOHO CORPORATION (HEREINAFTER "ZOHO") ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS (HEREINAFTER "TERMS") IN ADDITION TO ZOHO GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE. USE OF ZOHO APPTICS SIGNIFIES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND THE GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS, DO NOT PROCEED OR USE ZOHO APPTICS IN ANY MANNER.

Accessing Zoho Apptics

Zoho Apptics is a part of Zoho's suite of online collaboration, business and productivity applications. You will be able to access Zoho Apptics by using your common account for all Zoho Services (hereinafter "Zoho Account").

Accessing other Zoho services

Many Zoho Services are integrated with Zoho Apptics. Your Zoho Account will also allow you to access all Zoho Services even if such Zoho Services are not integrated with Zoho Apptics. Use of some of these Services may require acceptance of terms of service specific to such Zoho Services (hereinafter "Service Specific Terms"). You must read, understand, and accept the Service Specific Terms before using the corresponding Zoho Service.

Accessing Third Party Applications Integrated with Zoho Apptics

Many third party services (hereinafter "Third Party Service(s)") are integrated with Zoho Apptics. Zoho will also be integrating more Third Party Services with Zoho Apptics. In addition, you may also integrate any other Third Party Service with Zoho Apptics by using the API if such Third Party Service allows such integration. Access and use of Third Party Services may require acceptance of terms of service and privacy policy applicable to such Third Party Services (hereinafter "Third Party Terms"). You are responsible for reading and understanding the Third Party Terms before accessing or using any Third Party Service.

Information collected using Zoho Apptics

Using Zoho Apptics, you can collect :

  • "Device Information" such as name, type, model and OS of the device, wireless network provider, RAM, ROM, screen width and screen height, wireless network (wi-fi/edge), battery strength, timezone, orientation, remote IP, and randomly generated unique identifier of the device.

  • User information or any identifier that you set in Zoho Apptics to identify the users of your application ("User Information").

  • "Analytics Information" such as events, sessions, screens, crashes, API stats, funnel stats and retention stats.

Zoho Apptics SDK

Zoho grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to copy, install and use the Zoho Apptics SDK solely in connection with your use of Zoho Apptics. You will not (i) copy, modify, adapt, translate or otherwise create derivative works of the SDK; (ii) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the SDK; (iii) rent, sell, assign or otherwise transfer rights in the SDK; (iv) remove any proprietory notices or licenses from the SDK; or (v) use, post, publish, transmit or introduce any device, software or routine that interferes or attempts to interfere with the operations SDK.

Zoho Apptics API Token

Zoho will provide you a unique config.plist file for each application from which you can obtain the API token. API Token is the key to enable tracking of your applications. You agree not to transfer or make the API token and/or config.plist file available to any third parties.

Deletion of Application Identifier

You can set an identifier unique to each of your application within Zoho Apptics ("Application Identifier"). You understand and agree that upon deletion of the Application Identifier, you will not be able to retrieve the deleted Application Identifier and Zoho Apptics will cease processing any further analytics data associated with the same. However, the data already processed and stored in Zoho Apptics will remain unaffected.

Collection and Retention of Data

Upon signing up for Zoho Apptics, you will be provided the option to choose (i) which analytics data you require Zoho Apptics to collect, and (ii) whether you prefer to obtain consent from your users for collection of analytics data. You will also be able to choose the level of consent preferences for the said users.

Zoho will retain the information that you have collected using Zoho Apptics for a period of (i) five (5) years if you are using one of the paid plans of Zoho Apptics, and (ii) one (1) month if you are using the free plan of Zoho Apptics.

Compliance and Data Protection

As part of your use of Zoho Apptics, you may collect and further process the personally identifiable information of the users of your application ("PII"). You are solely responsible for (i) providing appropriate notices that elaborate the users about the collection and processing of user's personal information, and their rights under applicable data protection laws and (ii) compliance with laws applicable to your use of Zoho Apptics.

Modifications

Zoho reserves the right to modify Zoho Apptics Terms of Use. Modifications to the Terms of Use are effective upon your use of Zoho Apptics subsequent to publication of such modification.
