Gift Campaign, is a company that sells corporate gift products. They have an extensive collection of different promotional products, like pens, umbrellas, notebooks, and USBs that can be customized with company logos and more. They're mainly an online vendor with corporate customers, and they're headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, with offices in Italy, France, and the Portugal.
Challenges: Multiple Applications, One BI Tool
Diederik de Koning is the general manager of Gift Campaign, and wanted to track the performance of his business.
Gift Campaign uses multiple systems—Zoho Books and Inventory as their ERP system, Zendesk as their contact center system, and Google Analytics for website analytics.
Diederik was looking for an advanced BI platform that could integrate and blend data from all these systems, and derive insights from them, thereby having more control on their business.
He was in need of an overall picture that would show the performance of his business end-to-end, and help him identify potential opportunities for his company.

Solution: Unified Blending Analysis through Zoho Analytics
Gift Campaign was using Microsoft Excel to bring in data from all their applications for analysis, which took up lot of their time. Moreover, the output was inaccurate, with a high level of errors.
The company started looking for a BI solution and considered various options, including Google Data Studio, but decided Zoho Analytics was the ideal solution for them. They were wowed by the seamless unified data blending capability in Zoho Analytics, not only with Zoho apps but also with other third party apps.
The integration between Zoho Analytics and other apps was quick and seamless. They were able to integrate, blend, and generate reports like productivity levels of agents, sales reports, customer service levels, ad spends, and much more — comparing multiple aspects of a business, like sales, service, and spend, all in one place.
Features like the variety of data visualizations, formula engine, unified data blending, seamless data sync, collaboration, and interactive reports were all of great value.
Gift Campaign used Zoho Analytics to create 3 main dashboards:
- High-level metrics for leaders, that includes a daily overview of business—comparing sales and customer service on a monthly basis.
- Service-level metrics, like how many open tickets per team, average ticket age, new incoming ticket trends, how long a ticket is open, response rates, and how many calls are missed/accepted/denied, all on daily basis.
- Website analytics, like number of page visits, how much is paid vs organic, Google ad spend, etc.
Unified data blending is the key
