What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that's stored on your computer or other internet-connected device in order to identify your browser, provide analytics, and remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. They're completely safe and can't be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your device.
Cookies set by Zoho Meeting
Zoho Meeting uses cookies to identify individual visitors' preferences and their behavior on the website. These cookies provide customers with a better collaboration experience and serve the visitor consistently over multiple visits. It remembers visitor information such as user preferences, account settings, and languages.
We use different types of cookies, local storage objects, session storage, indexedDB, cache storage, and similar technologies, each storing a different set of data. These cookies are necessary with the loading or functioning of your meeting sites.
What are these cookies used for?
The cookies set by Zoho Meeting are broadly used for meeting functionality purposes. The user agent, device, and IP location aren't collected. Instead of storing the IP address, the country name is inferred and stored in the application. A cookie's domain attribute specifies which hosts are allowed to receive the cookie when a request is made. Each cookie has a specific expiry period (session ttl) once it's set.
