Zoho Teaminbox makes team collaboration effortless while creating a smoother and transparent workspace. With our multichannel inboxes, we aim to bring you closer to achieving this objective.
These shared inboxes work like a virtual folder. They connect all of your communication channels and organize conversations in one centralized location. Now you can easily collaborate over conversations from different apps, platforms, and emails in one place.
Why do you need shared inboxes for social channels?
Customers have access to a wide range of channels to reach you. These channels can include email, chat apps, and social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Social media platforms have become particularly popular because of their ease of use and convenience. The widespread availability of these platforms allows customers to connect to businesses at any time and from any location.
That's why most businesses now use multiple channels, including social media platforms and instant messaging apps, for communicating with their customers. But one major challenge here is a lack of collaboration because your conversations are spread out across various channels and locations. This will ultimately affect the ability to exchange information and ideas. Your team members might miss important details or duplicate their work on different channels.
When faced with multiple conversations across different channels, it's difficult to keep track of all of them. You may get confused and scramble to figure out which conversation has to be responded to first. That’s why you need a centralized place to access all of your conversations together.

Team members can view and manage messages from these platforms, as well as their emails, without leaving their inboxes. With a broader context of any ongoing conversation, it's much easier to discuss issues or ideas and find solutions through smart collaboration. They can get a complete view of past and present conversations from a single person across all channels. This helps them send more informed and personalized responses.
Using multichannel inboxes will help your team collaborate over these channels, resolve queries, and send the right replies at the right time through the right channel.
