Organization Details

When you initially set up your organization in Zoho Payroll, you would have provided essential details about your company. You can manage and update these details in the Organization Profile page. This ensures that your organization’s information remains accurate and up-to-date.


Configure Pay Schedule

The Pay Schedule is the backbone of your payroll process. It defines how frequently you pay your employees and helps you maintain a consistent payroll timeline. Zoho Payroll allows you to configure work week and set a pay date based on your business needs.


Social Security Benefits

Social Security Benefits are provided to employees in GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar) by their respective governments. You can configure social security benefits for your employees to provide necessary coverage and to ensure compliance with legal requirements.


Salary Components

Salary components are the different parts that make up an employee’s total salary. These include earnings, benefits, and deductions, which determine the gross pay and the final take-home salary of your employees.


Add Employees

Adding employees to Zoho Payroll is crucial for processing payrolls, calculating net pay, and deductions. The Employees module allows you to enter essential employee information, including their basic details, salary details, personal details, and payment information. You can also upload employee documents for record-keeping purposes. Zoho Payroll also lets you invite employees to the Employee Portal, where they can view payslips, salary details, and their payroll-related data.


Configure Prior Payroll

If you have previously processed payroll outside Zoho Payroll, the Prior Payroll module helps you import previous payroll data accurately. By entering prior payroll details, you ensure continuity and compliance, allowing Zoho Payroll to calculate deductions, and year-to-date amounts seamlessly.


To Do Tasks

The To Do Tasks section serves as a task management space. You can view pending tasks that need attention to ensure the smooth execution of payroll processes. This section helps you stay organized and on top of critical payroll-related activities.


Current and Ongoing Pay Runs

The Dashboard provides a snapshot of current and ongoing payruns. It includes vital information such as net pay, payment date, and the number of employees involved. This encompasses regular payroll as well as full and final settlement payroll, offering a comprehensive overview of the financial aspects of the organization.

Employee Summary

The Employee Summary section offers a quick glance at the workforce composition. Users can view the number of active employees, categorized by expats and nationals.

INSIGHT Click View Employees to access a detailed list of employees from the Dashboard.

Social Security Summary

In this section, users can access a summary of social security benefits based on the nationality of employees. The summary can be filtered by the current year, previous year, and previous month.

Payroll Cost Summary

The Payroll Cost Summary graphically represents payroll costs on the y-axis and months on the x-axis. Users can filter this summary by the current year and the previous year, providing a visual representation of cost trends over time.
