Slack Integration
The Zoho Subscriptions - Slack integration allows you to easily monitor your customers’ subscription payment activities. The notifications will be triggered based on your customers’ payment actions and will be pushed into your preferred Slack channel instantly (#general, #random, etc.)
Note: Slack integration by nature will not send notifications for any payment renewals.
Setup
To setup Zoho Subscriptions - Slack integration, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Navigate to Gear icon > More Settings > Integrations > Other Apps.
- Click on the Add to Slack button adjacent to Slack, to connect your Zoho Subscriptions organization with Slack.
- In the page that follows, you will be asked to enter your credentials for Slack.
- Choose the channel to which you wish to push the notifications from Zoho Subscriptions.
- Click on the Authorize button to complete the integration.
Note: When you integrate with Slack, your Slack url and credentials will be shared with them.
Notifications
After the integration, you will start receiving notifications into your Slack channel. You will receive notification for,
1. New Subscription
You will receive notifications for new subscriptions via Hosted Payment Pages.
2. New Subscription Failure
You will receive notifications for any unsuccessful attempts while subscribing to your service via Hosted Payment Pages.
3. Invoice Payment Success
You will receive notifications for payments received through Secure Payment Page and Customer Portal.
4. Invoice Payment Failure
You will receive notifications for unsuccessful payment attempts by the customers via Secure Payment Page and Customer Portal.
5. New Card Added via Request Payment Method:
You will receive notifications when a new card is added by the customer via Request Payment Method.
6. Error while adding Card via Request Payment Method:
You will receive notifications when an error occurs while your customer attempts to add a new card via Request Payment Method.
7. New Bank Account Added via Request Payment Method:
You will receive notifications when a new bank account is added by the customer via Request Payment Method.
8. Error while adding Bank Account via Request Payment Method:
You will receive notifications when an error occurs while your customer attempts to add a new bank account via Request Payment Method.
9. New Rating from Customer Portal:
You will receive a notification when your customer rates and reviews your service in Customer Portal.
10. New Comment For the Review from Customer Portal
You will receive a notification when your customers add a new comment for their review in Customer Portal.
Disabling Integration
To disable the integration, kindly follow the instructions below:
- Navigate to Gear icon > More Settings > Integrations > Other Apps.
- Click on the Remove button adjacent to Slack to disable the integration.
