Recording Payments

In this section, we’ll look at the ways in which you can record payments for retainer invoices.

Collecting Online Payments

You can integrate these online payment gateways with Zoho Billing to receive online payments from your customers.

Once you’ve integrated a payment gateway, you can configure the payment options when you create a retainer invoice and send it to your customer.

Create Retainer

Your customers would receive the retainer invoice in an email along with a payment link. They can click that link to make payment for the retainer invoice.

Online Payments via Customer Portal

If you have enabled Customer Portal for your customers, they will be able to view the retainer invoice in their respective portal. They can pay for the retainer invoices from the portal directly.

Manually Charge your Customer

You can also manually charge your customer by storing their credit card information in Zoho Billing.
