Disable Battery Optimization

To disable battery optimization in Vivo devices running Android 11 and below:

1. Go to Settings on your phone and tap Battery.
   
2. On the page that opens, tap High background power consumption.
   
3. Tap the toggle button next to Zoho Expense.
   

Once this is done, Zoho Expense will have uninterrupted access to your device’s location, even when the app is running in the background. This will allow Zoho Expense to accurately record your mileage using GPS.

Vivo Devices running Android version - 12 and above

Disable Battery Optimization

You have to disable battery optimization in two steps for android versions 12 and above.

Step 1

1. Go to Settings on your phone and tap Battery.
   
2. On the page that opens, tap Background power consumption management.
   
3. Select the Don’t restrict background power usage option.
   

Step 2

1. Go to Settings on your phone and tap Apps.
   
2. In the list that opens, search and tap Zoho Expense.
   
3. In the App info page, tap Battery.
   
4. Select the Unrestricted option.
   

Once you’ve disabled battery optimization using both the steps, Zoho Expense will have uninterrupted access to your device’s location, even when the app is running in the background. This will allow Zoho Expense to accurately record your mileage using GPS.
