Description
The solutions that you build must undergo a one-time review by Custom solutions review team before you can publish it to production and onboard clients.
Guidelines
Ensure your solution is built in accordance with the following guidelines prior to initiating the review process:
- Your solution must comply with these limitations.
- The size of the application must be optimal. This is important to improve the performance of your solution because the time taken for client installation and version publish depends on the size of the application. To have your application size in check:
- Delete all the unnecessary forms, fields, reports, and pages because you cannot delete a component once it is published to production.
- Keep an eye on Deluge statements execution limit.
- You must prepare and submit your terms & conditions and privacy policy agreements between you and your clients. And, your solution must comply with them.
Steps to initiate review process
If your solution is built according to the mentioned guidelines and ready to be published to production, follow the steps to initiate the review process:
- Navigate to dashboard and click on the "Send for Review" button. You can only submit the latest published stage version of your solution for review.
- Click "Yes, proceed" button in the review details pop-up box.
- Perform the following actions:
- Provide a brief description of your solution.
- Choose the number of clients expected.
- Grant edit permission for your solution to proceed with the review process. This access will be revoked after the review is complete.
- Click the "send for review" button.
The status will be set as "Review sent" in the dashboard.
Changes from review and agreement
- Zoho reviewers will check for possible performance and security related issues. The details of the review will be communicated through email.
- If your solution requires changes, you need to publish a new version incorporating all the suggested changes to stage and re-initiate the review process.
- Or, if everything is good, you are required to digitally sign an agreement with Zoho. This agreement dictates the terms to be followed with the clients and the Zoho Creator base prices. Once the review is complete you can publish your solution to production and onboard clients.
