As 2024 draws to a close, we're brimming with excitement to reflect on a year packed with updates, enhancements, and features that made managing your social media smoother than ever. From launching new integrations to refining existing functionalities, Zoho Social has been committed to making social media management seamless for its customers — and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Let's look back at all the amazing milestones we achieved together in 2024.
January: Setting the tone for the year
We kicked off the year with tools to empower your Inbox experience. Now you can archive or unarchive interactions, mark them as spam, or mute users with ease. Automation rules make managing these actions even simpler, whether individually or in bulk. Plus, with our sentiment analysis feature, interactions are automatically categorized as positive, neutral, or negative to help you prioritize effectively.
Another significant update was the introduction of post approvals for admins. Portal and brand admins can now send drafted posts to approvers within the brand for review, ensuring your content is polished before going live.
February: Optimizing your content
Video content took center stage in February. You can now ensure your videos suit every platform's requirements, thanks to the ability to automatically optimize adjustments like bitrate, frame rate, and size. With Social, optimization is one less thing to worry about when creating content.
March: Expanding engagement capabilities
March saw us strengthening channel integrations. You can now analyze your Mastodon channel performance through the Reports dashboard, exploring detailed audience and engagement metrics.
We also brought LinkedIn page messages into Zoho Social. Manage interactions directly from the Inbox or Messages tab and let Zia draft responses for you. Assign conversations to your team using manual or automated rules.
April: Stories and broader engagement
We introduced the ability to publish Facebook Stories directly from Zoho Social. Create visually engaging content from scratch or upload your media files to keep your audience hooked.
To make collaboration even better, the Social eWidget for Zoho Mail now lets you engage with brand mentions and messages across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram — all from your email interface.
May: Enhanced interactivity and collaboration
We added the capability to include promotional offers in your Google Business Profile posts. Add descriptions, dates, and other details to make your posts more enticing.
Managing TikTok interactions became a breeze with Inbox support. Respond to comments using Zia or assign them to team members based on priority. Additionally, the round-robin assignment feature streamlined team workflows by distributing interactions evenly.
June: Taking collaboration to the next level
The publishing calendar received a major revamp, allowing you to create notes, events, and drafts with ease. Customize your view with filters, holidays, and time zones.
Instagram collaboration also got an upgrade! Now you can co-author posts with other accounts, track collaborator responses, and monitor shared metrics such as likes and comments.
Lastly, we expanded first-comment capabilities. You can now add first comments to posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube in addition to Instagram, enriching your content strategy with hashtags and key details.
July: Welcoming Threads
In July, Threads joined the Zoho Social family. Publish, schedule, analyze, and track engagement for your Threads posts, all within our platform. This addition ensures your content strategy stays dynamic and relevant.
August: Polls and documents for better engagement
Polls made their way to X and LinkedIn, letting you engage your audience with interactive posts. Additionally, you can now post documents like DOC, PDF, or PPT files directly to LinkedIn.
Threads analytics brought deeper insights into your Threads profile. View audience metrics, export reports, and schedule them to be shared with your team for actionable insights.
September: Bulk scheduling reimagined
We revamped bulk scheduling to make it more intuitive. Review and edit posts, move them to drafts, or delete them directly in the new UI. For X premium users, posting content up to 25,000 characters became possible, letting you share longer, more detailed narratives with your audience.
October: Personalizing customer experiences
Google Business Profile posts now support call buttons, enabling customers to connect with your business directly. Additionally, custom domain support for URL shortening was introduced. Personalize long URLs with custom names to align with your brand’s identity.
November: New frontiers with WhatsApp and Telegram
We welcomed WhatsApp and Telegram into Zoho Social. Manage interactions, add templates, and respond within the platform. To enhance efficiency, pre-saved responses can now be categorized for quick access, letting you communicate faster than ever.
December: Welcoming Bluesky to Zoho Social
Bluesky, the decentralized social platform focused on fostering communities, is now part of Zoho Social! Draft posts with captions and media, then publish or schedule them effortlessly. Plus, manage conversations through the Messages and Inbox tabs to stay connected with your audience.

Our favorite shoutouts: #ZohoSocialStory
This year, we were thrilled to receive some incredible feedback from our customers, and one story that truly stood out was from Aliens Tattoo, a distinguished chain of tattoo studios celebrated for their exceptional artistry and expertise in creating intricate tattoos.
Jeslin George, Sr. Vice President of Marketing at Aliens Tattoo, shared how Zoho Social has been a game-changer for their business. Jeslin highlighted how Zoho Social helped their team efficiently plan and schedule posts, including videos, to execute coordinated campaigns across multiple social media platforms. The result? A significant boost in their ability to engage with prospective customers, strengthening their brand presence across channels.
Hearing stories like this reminds us why we do what we do — empowering businesses to tell their stories and connect with their audience.
Where we were in 2024
