Import and Export
In Zoho Subscriptions you have the option to import data from your computer to speed up the data collation. You can also export data from Zoho Subscriptions for your reference or other purposes you might need.
Customers
To import customers,
- Navigate to Customers tab.
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon and select Import Customers.
- In the Customers - Select File screen next, click the Choose File button to upload the relevant .csv or .tsv contact file from your hard disk.
- Choose the appropriate Character Encoding type and File Delimiter.
- Click on Next.
- In the Map Fields screen next, Zoho Subscriptions will automatically try to map the fields of your uploaded customer file with that of the Zoho Subscriptions fields.
- In case of any unmatched fields, you can manually map them and click on Next.
- In the Preview screen next, the information like the number of customers ready to be imported, number of records skipped and unmapped fields will be shown.
- At this stage, if you are unsure about importing the customers, then click on Previous button to make the necessary changes. Or else, click on Import button to import the customer list.
To export customers,
- Navigate to Customers tab.
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon on the top-right corner and select Export Customers.
- In the dialog box next, select Contacts from the drop down list under Entity field.
- Under Export As, select the appropriate type in which the customer list has to be exported.
- Click on Export.
Invoices
To import invoices,
- Navigate to Invoices tab and click on the Hamburger icon at the top-right.
- From the drop-down, click on Import Customers.
- In the Invoices - Select File screen next, click the Choose File button to upload the relevant .csv or .tsv invoice file from your hard disk.
- Choose the appropriate Character Encoding type and File Delimiter.
- Click on Next.
- In the Map Fields screen next, Zoho Subscriptions will automatically try to map the fields of your uploaded invoice file with that of the Zoho Subscriptions fields.
- In case of any unmatched fields, you can manually map them and click on Next.
- In the Preview screen next, the information like the number of customers ready to be imported, number of records skipped and unmapped fields will be shown.
- At this stage, if you are unsure about importing the customers, then click on Previous button to make the necessary changes. Or else, click on Import button to import the invoice list.
Notes: * If the importing invoice file has a new customer then a new customer will be created with the same name in Zoho Subscriptions. Customer will be created even if there isn’t any email address available. * It is mandatory that Item code field should contain either the Plan Code or Coupon Code.
To export invoices,
- Navigate to Invoices tab and click on the Hamburger icon at the top-right.
- From the drop-down, click on Export Invoices.
- In the dialog box next, select Invoices from the drop down list under Entity field.
- You can use Filter option to export invoices between specific dates.
- Under Export As, select the appropriate type in which the invoice list has to be exported.
- Finally, Click on Export.
Payments
To import customers’ payments,
- Navigate to Invoice tab.
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon and select Import Payments.
- In the Payments - Select File screen next, click the Choose File button to upload the relevant .csv or .tsv payments file from your hard disk.
- Choose the appropriate Character Encoding type and File Delimiter.
- Click on Next.
- In the Map Fields screen next, Zoho Subscriptions will automatically try to map the fields of your uploaded payments file with that of the Zoho Subscriptions fields.
- In case of any unmatched or wrongly mapped fields, you can manually map them and click on Next.
- In the Preview screen next, the information like the number of payments ready to be imported, number of records skipped and unmapped fields will be shown.
- At this stage, if you are unsure about importing the payments, then click on Previous button to make the necessary changes. Or else, click on Import button to import the payments list.
To export customers’ payments,
- Navigate to Invoice tab .
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon on the top-right corner and select Export Payments.
- In the dialog box next, select Payments from the drop down list under Entity field.
- Under Export As, select the appropriate type in which the payments list has to be exported.
- Click on Export.
Plans
To import plans,
- Navigate to Products tab.
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon and select Import Plans.
- In the Plans - Select File screen next, click the Choose File button to upload the relevant .csv or .tsv plans file from your hard disk.
- Choose the appropriate Character Encoding type and File Delimiter.
- Click on Next.
- In the Map Fields screen next, Zoho Subscriptions will automatically try to map the fields of your uploaded plan file with that of the Zoho Subscriptions fields.
- In case of any unmatched or wrongly mapped fields, you can manually map them and click on Next.
- In the Preview screen next, the information like the number of plans ready to be imported, number of records skipped and unmapped fields will be shown.
- At this stage, if you are unsure about importing the plans, then click on Previous button to make the necessary changes. Or else, click on Import button to import the plans.
To export plans,
- Navigate to Products tab .
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon on the top-right corner and select Export Plans.
- In the dialog box next, select Plans from the drop down list under Entity field.
- Under Export As, select the appropriate type in which the plans has to be exported.
- Click on Export.
Addons
To import addons,
- Navigate to Products tab.
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon and select Import Addons.
- In the Addons - Select File screen next, click the Choose File button to upload the relevant .csv or .tsv addon file from your hard disk.
- Choose the appropriate Character Encoding type and File Delimiter.
- Click on Next.
- In the Map Fields screen next, Zoho Subscriptions will automatically try to map the fields of your uploaded addon file with that of the Zoho Subscriptions fields.
- In case of any unmatched or wrongly mapped fields, you can manually map them and click on Next.
- In the Preview screen next, the information like the number of addons ready to be imported, number of records skipped and unmapped fields will be shown.
- At this stage, if you are unsure about importing the addons, then click on Previous button to make the necessary changes. Or else, click on Import button to import the addons.
To export addons,
- Navigate to Products tab .
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon on the top-right corner and select Export Addons.
- In the dialog box next, select Addons from the drop down list under Entity field.
- Under Export As, select the appropriate type in which the Addons has to be exported.
- Click on Export.
Coupons
To import Coupons,
- Navigate to Products tab.
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon and select Import Coupons.
- In the Coupons - Select File screen next, click the Choose File button to upload the relevant .csv or .tsv addon file from your hard disk.
- Choose the appropriate Character Encoding type and File Delimiter.
- Click on Next.
- In the Map Fields screen next, Zoho Subscriptions will automatically try to map the fields of your uploaded coupon file with that of the Zoho Subscriptions fields.
- In case of any unmatched or wrongly mapped fields, you can manually map them and click on Next.
- In the Preview screen next, the information like the number of coupons ready to be imported, number of records skipped and unmapped fields will be shown.
- At this stage, if you are unsure about importing the coupons, then click on Previous button to make the necessary changes. Or else, click on Import button to import the coupons.
To export coupons,
- Navigate to Products tab .
- Click on the Hamburger icon icon on the top-right corner and select Export Coupons.
- In the dialog box next, select Coupons from the drop down list under Entity field.
- Under Export As, select the appropriate type in which the coupons has to be exported.
- Click on Export.
