How do I create an invoice for multiple projects?

There are two methods by which you can invoice multiple projects:

From the Invoice Creation Page

You can create an invoice for multiple projects that are created for a customer. Here’s how:

  • Go to Sales on the left sidebar and select Invoices.
  • Click + New on the top right corner of the Invoices List page.
  • On the New Invoice page, select the customer for whom you want to create the invoice from the Customer Name field.
  • Once you select the customer, you’ll be able to see a section below the Item Table with the details of the unbilled projects for that customer.
  • Click Unbilled Projects.
  • In the pop up that appears, click Please select a project and select the project that you want to include in the invoice from the dropdown.
  • The pop up will expand after selecting a project. Verify the details and click Add.
  • Click Save as Draft if you want to send the invoice to your customer later or click Save and Send if you want to send the invoice to your customer immediately.

From the Project’s List Page

Note: You will be not be able to create a single invoice using this method if you’ve created projects for multiple customers.

You can bulk select the projects for which you want to create the invoice. Here’s how:

  • Go to Time Tracking on the left sidebar and select Projects.
  • Select the projects for which you want to create the invoice and click Create Invoice at the top of the page.
  • You’ll be redirected to the New Invoice page. Verify the details.
  • Click Save as Draft if you want to send the invoice to your customer later or click Save and Send if you want to send the invoice to your customer immediately.

An invoice will be created for the projects you selected.
