    Yes, administrators can restrict application access for users in Zoho People Plus. Users can only access applications that they've been granted access to.

  • Can I export my data from Zoho People Plus?

    Yes, you can export data into standard formats from every application included in People Plus.

  • I had signed up for the People Plus trial and since my trial expired today, I am not able to access People. What should I do?

    You'll be able to access People from people.zoho.com. However, in case you need to access People Plus after the 30-day free trial, you can either purchase People Plus or drop an email to sales@zohocorp.com.

  • What is the difference between People Plus and Zoho One?

    Zoho One is a unified platform that integrates with multiple business-crucial applications necessary, from sales, marketing, HR, and more. Zoho People Plus is a bundle that includes applications that help the HR professionals, such as the HRMS platform Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, Zoho Expense, Zoho Vault, and more.

  • How do I close my Zoho account when I've signed up for People Plus?

    To close your Zoho account, you'll have to cancel your People Plus account first. You can then go to mail.zoho.com/cpanel/index.do and click Delete Organization. You can then log in to accounts.zoho.com, go to settings and close your account.

  • What is the Admin Panel in People Plus?

    The admin panel is a central console from where you can control functionalities such as setting up the organization, managing apps in the bundle, adding users, selecting admin, verifying the domain, and manage subscription.

  • What are the default apps that will be added while adding users to People Plus?

    People, Recruit, Connect, and Cliq will be added by default.

  • What if all users are not required to be added in default apps?

  • Which user will be shown as external, and how they can be converted to org?

    If a user is a part of another organization, they’re considered external. In order to convert them to the present organization, they’ll have to be removed from the previous one. Go to the Admin Panel, click on Users -> select user and click on convert to organization option. This will trigger an invite to the user’s registered email address. They will need to accept this invite to join the organization.

  • What is the difference between People plus admin and individual app admin?

    Zoho People Plus Admins are users with complete access to the Admin Panel. They perform all subscription-related actions and receive related email updates on those actions. They are also responsible for managing all users, groups, and applications in the organization.

    The Organization Owner, sometimes referred to as a Super Admin, is a special type of Zoho People Plus Admin. By default, the person who signs up for Zoho People Plus will be assigned the position of Owner, and only they can edit the organization's details.

    However, App admins are users who have been assigned by the People Plus admin to manage specific apps. App admins are users with highest priveledge in the app and are responsible for managing access to the app.

  • How can I change the Owner in Zoho People Plus?

    • Sign in to Zoho People Plus
    • Click the Admin Panel in the top-right corner. Click the Organization tab.
    • In the Organization page, hover over the Owner Info section and click Change Owner.
    • Enter the owner's name or email address in the text box.
    • Select the new owner's name from the drop-down. Their name and email address will be displayed in the text box.

    Note: Only the existing owner will be able to change the owner in Zoho People Plus.

    • If a user is already present in People Plus, go to Admin Panel -> Users -> select a user-> add applications

    • Click the Admins tab displayed to the left of the Admin Panel.
    • Click the Plus symbol.
    • Click inside the text box in the Assign Admin pop-up window, then enter the user's name or email address. You can also enter the first few letters of the user name to view a drop-down menu with any matching user names.
    • Select the individual's username. Their profile and name will be displayed in the text box. Repeat this step to assign more users as Administrators, if required.
    • Click Assign.

    The People Plus Admin is the only one who can cancel the trial by clicking the profile in the top-right corner of the People Plus application, then clicking Cancel.

    No, you have to downgrade the user licenses for us to stop charging you for deactivated users.

  • Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my account any time?

    Yes, there are no long-term contracts. You can choose to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your account at any time by logging in to your People Plus account.

  • Why am I getting an error saying that my account has been deactivated after switching to the Free editon of People?

    Make sure that you are accessing people.zoho.com and not peopleplus.zoho.com

  • How can I add additional user licenses in People Plus?

    You can add additional user licenses in People Plus from the Zoho People Plus Subscription page.

  • How can I reduce my user licenses in People Plus?

    You can reduce the number of user licenses in your subscription from the Manage Zoho People Plus Subscription page.

  • Can I change my payment method once I upgrade to the People Plus Plan?

    Yes, you can change your payment method in Zoho People Plus from the Subscription page. Update your existing credit card details, or change the payment method from Credit Card to PayPal.

  • Can I change my payment schedule when upgrading to the Zoho People Plus plan?

    Yes, click Change and select the yearly or monthly option to change your payment schedule in the Subscription page.

  • Can I change the currency when upgrading to the Zoho People Plus plan?

    Yes, you can change the currency when upgrading to the Zoho People Plus plan. Click Change in the Subscription page, then click the currency toggle button on the upper-right corner to change your currency.

  • How can I view my subscription details in People Plus?

    To view your People Plus subscription details:

    • Navigate to the Subscription tab displayed in the top-right corner.
    • Click on the plan details section.
  • How can I pay for my subscription?

    You can pay for your People Plus subscription by clicking the Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer(ACH), or Netbanking / Wallet/ UPI tabs in the Payment Details section. These tabs are displayed according to the payment schedule and currency you have selected.

  • When is the Debit Card / Net Banking / Wallet / UPI tab displayed in the Payment Details section, and when should I use it?

    The Debit Card / Net Banking / Wallet / UPI tab is displayed in the Payment Details section when the payment schedule is selected as 'Yearly' or 'Monthly', and the payment currency used is 'INR.' Click this tab if you want to make a yearly or monthly payment for your subscription in Indian rupees.

  • How can I purchase user licenses and add-ons in People Plus?

    Access the Zoho People Plus Subscription page and navigate to the Plan Details section to purchase user licenses and add-ons to meet your business needs.

  • Can I pause my People Plus subscription?

    We do not currently offer this option. However, if you are a paid user, you can cancel your People Plus subscription. You will then move to the Free Plan of the individual applications with all your data intact. You can re-activate your account anytime if required.

  • What will happen if my subscription renewal fails?

    If the subscription is not renewed within the due date, your access to the applications will be restricted. You can either contact support@zohopeopleplus.com to reactivate your account, or cancel your Zoho People Plus account and move to the Free plan in the individual applications with the same customization, setup, and users intact.

Users

  • How to assign Admins to People Plus, and what access will they have ?

    Go to Admin Panel -> Admins -> Add admins

    People Plus Admins have permission to add users, assign application to users, disable users, delete pending users and all other permissions in the Admin Panel.

  • How to assign Service Admins and what access will they have?

    To add service admins to a service, Go to Admin Panel -> Service Admins

    Service Admins will have Admin access to the service you assign. They will be able to assign the other existing users to a service.

  • Can I import and export users from Admin Panel?

    Yes, you can import and export users from the admin panel. The following formats are supported: XLS, XLSX, CSV, and VCF. (screen shot required)

  • Can I resend an invitation to a user in People Plus?

    If the user fails to accept your invitation within seven days, the link to accept the invite will expire. You can reinvite the user so that they can receive the new email invite.

  • Who can resend an invitation to pending users or deactivate user accounts in Zoho People Plus?

    You can resend an invitation to pending users if you are an Administrator in People Plus or an Administrator in any of the individual People Plus applications. To deactivate a user account, you must be a People Plus Administrator or an Owner in Zoho People Plus.

  • What should I do if my users have not received the invitation I've sent to them from the Admin Panel?

    Try to resend the invitation from the Users page in the Admin Panel again. If the users don't receive the email, ask them to check in their spam folder.

  • How do I revoke administrative privileges for a user in Zoho People Plus?

    To revoke administrative privileges for a user:

     

    • Click Admin Panel in the top-right corner of People Plus.
    • Select Admins on the left pane. A list of admins for the portal will appear.
    • Hover over the user whose administrative privileges have to be revoked and click Unassign.

  • How does per-user license work?

    Your People Plus user license is based on all six associated applications. For example, if you purchased 5 user licenses for People Plus, you can then activate any or all of the applications within People Plus based on the users' needs.

     

    However, if you do not want to give access within the existing five users, but instead want to give access to another new user, you will have to purchase an additional user license.

     

     

    Each unique login, regardless of the number of applications used in People Plus, is considered a user license.

     

     

    This means that a user with access to only one application is still counted the same as a user with access to all of the applications in Zoho People Plus. Each user requires a separate license.

     

Payroll

  • Can I assign admins directly to ZohoPayroll application from the Admin Panel ?

    Yes, users can be assigned with Admin role to Zoho Payroll from the Admin Panel.

  • Is Zoho Payroll only included in People Plus for selected regions ?

    Yes, currently Zoho Payroll will be available only for Indian locations.

  • Can I assign employees directly to ZohoPayroll application from admin panel ?

    Employees can only be synced through People-Payroll integration. Users cannot be assigned directly to the Zoho Payroll application as an employee through the Admin Panel.

  • When will the Employee be in sync with People and Payroll?

    Whenever an employee gets added into People service, will automatically be added into Zoho Payroll based on the configured Zoho Payroll integration preference. The following information will be shared to Zoho Payroll from People Plus:

    • Date of Exit

Recruit

  • Is Recruit Staffing Agency a part of People Plus ?

    Zoho Recruit has two types of organizational accounts — staffing agency and corporate HR. People Plus can only support corporate HR account type.

  • If I am using Staffing Agency plan in Zoho Recuit, can I convert it to Corporate HR to associate to People Plus?

    Yes, you can. Email support@zohopeopleplus.com to confirm.

Troubleshooting

  • Can I map two People organizations to Zoho People Plus?

    You can map only one people organization to People Plus.

  • How can I map a service in Zoho People Plus without administrative privileges?

    You can map a service to Zoho People Plus, in these two cases

    • Ask the service Admin to make you the admin of that service, and then add it to People Plus, or
    • Add the service Admin as an Admin of People Plus, and then add the service to People Plus
  • How do I unmap an organization and add another Expense or Payroll organization to People Plus?

  • Can I map other paid services to the trial version of Zoho People Plus?

    If you are using the trial version of Zoho People Plus and you are a paid user in any one of the applications, except People, the other paid services will not be mapped to Zoho People Plus.

  • Why is a user unable to access a particular application?

    Navigate to Admin Panel - > Users, then select a user and check whether the application is assigned to them. If it is, check whether it's in disabled state.

  • What do I do if I get an error saying that People Plus account already exists for my organization?

    Contact your People Plus admin to check:

    • If you've been added to the People Plus account
    • If you are active in the People app in People Plus Admin Panel
  • Why am I seeing "User is already present in another Application" while assigning a user to an application?

    Zoho Recruit and Zoho Sign support only a single org. This error occurs when the user has signed up as a part of another organization.

    • For Recruit, the user should navigate to Recruit -> Settings -> Company Settings-> Close Account.
    • For Sign, the user should navigate to Sign -> Settings -> Organisation Details -> Close Account.

  • Will I lose my data if I cancel my Zoho People Plus account and move to the individual applications?

    No, you will not lose any data if you cancel your Zoho People Plus account and move to the individual applications.

  • Can I reactivate my Zoho People Plus account at any time?

    Yes, you can reactivate your Zoho People Plus account at any time by upgrading to the paid plan of People Plus. All your existing customizations and settings will be retained.

  • Where will my data be stored?

    Depending on your location, your data will be stored in Zoho-owned servers in the United States, Europe, or Asia.
