What are the types of coupons I can create?

Zoho Checkout has support for 3 types of coupons:

• One Time: The discount is applied once, during checkout (only on the initial payment, in case of recurring payments).
• Forever: The discount is applied on all successive payments in a recurring payment and once in a one-time payment.
• Limited Number of Times: The discount is applied on the specified number of successive payments in a recurring payment and once in a one-time payment.

You can choose the type of coupon you want to create based on how you want the discount to be applied.

For example, if you would like to provide a 15% discount for the first 3 months on your monthly payment page, you would create a coupon with the type as Limited Number of Times with the value set to 3. Now when a customer uses this coupon, a discount of 15% of the invoice amount (excluding taxes) will be applied during checkout and for the next 2 successive renewals.
