Relyon Electronics is an India-based IT infrastructure company that's been in business for more than 10 years. They are headquartered in Bangalore with the mission to develop cutting edge solutions in cyber security. From cloud consulting to malware protection, Relyon Electronics helps protect businesses from internal and external digital threats.
Initially, Relyon Electronics used Excel sheets to manage their accounting needs and the data was saved in different places. Pulling out reports and keeping track of all customer records, including payments made and invoices due, became a nightmare with Excel. As the data was scattered, consolidating and consuming them was taking too much of their productive time.
In 2017, Relyon Electronics started looking into a consolidated platform that could take care of end-to-end accounting like invoicing, creating journal entries, generating reports and analytics and they eventually found Zoho Books. Zoho Books has simplified many operations for them with respect to sending quotes and creating invoices.
What impresses Mr. Fravin, Relyon's Director of Business Development, the most about Zoho Books is that it is very user friendly compared to other accounting solutions available on the market today. They have connected all the dots between invoicing and reporting, so they no longer have to jump from one excel sheet to another. They feel a lot more organized than before.
If I had to describe Zoho Books in a phrase, I would say 'great value.' We use various other pieces of software also, which have a real high premium for a less value. However, Zoho Books is absolutely a value for our money.
According to Fravin, he feels Zoho Books simply has everything that a business needs for accounting and it's suitable for businesses of any size. Among the various features in Zoho Books, his favorite one is the quote and invoicing feature. He can create customized quotes with the different templates available and the quote can be converted to its subsequent sales order/ invoice in just a click. If a customer asks for an quote in the PDF format, he can easily share a PDF version of the quote the moment it is requested for. The monthly reporting feature, particularly the 'sales by item' and 'sales by customer' reports, are very much essential for Relyon. He is also happy with the Zoho Books support team as whenever an issue is raised, it has been addressed and resolved quickly.
