The release of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and watchOS 11 has introduced a range of cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing app performance, user experience, and accessibility. At Zoho, we're excited to leverage these advancements to enhance our diverse suite of apps. In this article, we'll explore how our apps in various categories are using Apple's advanced features, such as Control Center widgets, app intents, and more. Productivity and collaboration 

Capture your everyday activities and enhance your notes with Journaling Suggestions and Apple Intelligence in Zoho Notebook. With the Control Center widgets, you can effortlessly extend the app's capabilities to the Control Center, Lock Screen widgets, or the Action Button in Zoho Doc Scanner, Zoho TeamInbox, and Zoho Projects without opening the app. Quickly perform actions on your iPhone's home screen with Spotlight Search and App Shortcuts and take convenience to the next level with Siri commands to effortlessly create or access a base in Zoho Tables and quickly add a task or log hours in Zoho Projects. Users can now perform actions directly from their iPhone's home screen using Spotlight Search. The new Translate API in iOS 18 now lets you translate instantly in Zoho TeamInbox.

We're also introducing Zoho Translate for the latest Apple updates. Zoho Translate is our own translation app, readily available for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. Translate seamlessly across 50+ languages and experience Apple's recent Control Center widgets, App Intents, Translate API, and even Window Tiling on your devices.

For the brand-new macOS Sequoia, you can now arrange the open windows of the Zoho Notebook, Zoho Doc Scanner, and Zoho TeamInbox apps as customized tiles and work more conveniently. With smart suggestions and predictive text, you can compose emails or draft content more efficiently in Zoho TeamInbox. Also, Zoho Notebook for watchOS 11 now includes full support for both Audio Recorder and Audio Player live activities on your wrist.

Security and IT management 

Would you believe that we're bringing Apple's enhanced Autofill feature to your authenticator app for Apple devices you use every day? That's right—no more switching between authenticator apps and where OTPs are needed. This is just one more way Zoho OneAuth is streamlining your login process for greater convenience. Passkeys can now be used for the instant cloud sync and, for recovery of your TFA accounts, providing you a seamless recovery process for all of your online accounts on your Apple devices. Starting from your Apple Watch 9 and above, you can now perform actions like scrolling through your OTPs in Focus view using Double Tap, including the Apple Watch Ultra series.

The Control Center widgets in Zoho Directory for iOS 18 streamline repetitive IAM tasks for admins, providing easy access to quick actions such as "Add New User" and "View Dashboard." Zoho OneAuth enhances smart sign-in by allowing you to log in to your account simply by scanning a QR code. Additionally, under the Authenticator tab, online/TFA accounts can be quickly added directly from the Control Center.

Finance                                         

With iOS 18's LockedCameraCapture in Zoho Books, you can now swiftly capture receipts of invoices and bills whenever you need them. Live Activities in watchOS 11 makes it easier to track the time you spend on your projects. You can start, pause, or stop timers in your Zoho Books projects using your Apple Watch, allowing you to adjust your time entries easily.

With the Contact Access button, you can now search for the device's contacts while adding a customer or a contact person in Zoho Invoice. When you type the first three letters of your contact's first name, the suggestion pops up on your keyboard, and you can match it accordingly. You can also include your device's contacts in an outgoing email when emailing your invoice. With Contact Provider in Zoho Billing, bring all your contacts to one place and eliminate the need to open the app each time and look up customer details.

Employee and customer experience 

Quickly click a picture from your lock screen, store it in Bigin, and associate it with the required record whenever you have time. Translate API in Bigin and Zoho Sign helps you translate emails and messages into your preferred language. With Contact Provider, automatically upload all of your Bigin contacts to your device and store them in a dedicated list in your Contacts app. Effortlessly drag and drop files from your iPhone to your Mac and associate them with records on the latest macOS Sequoia.

With the new Control Center widgets in Zoho Sign, you can now scan and sign documents, import photos, and browse files in Zoho Sign—all without opening the app. Plus, add the Smart Widget to your Control Center, allowing temps to check shifts or modify availability in Zoho Workerly with a quick swipe.

Suite 

Create, update, and complete tasks, events, and meetings in Zoho Solo using various app intents through Siri commands and Spotlight search. Instantly scan business cards using the lock screen camera capture extension and save them as contacts in Zoho Solo. Easily import and manage contacts from your phone book with a single tap using the contact access button. With the Contact Provider feature, sync your Zoho Solo business contacts with your phone’s native contact list and access them quickly.

The new iOS update for Zoho One removes the need to navigate to the app every time you need to add a new user, assign apps, or view the entire dashboard.  With Zoho One's Control Center widgets, you can perform these tasks directly from the Control Center without the need to launch the app manually.
