Retainer Invoice

A retainer invoice is a financial document issued by a seller to a buyer with an intent of collecting an advanced payment for the products or services rendered. This amount collected by the seller will not be an income but a liability. The revenue is earned only when the seller delivers the product or service. Else, the collected advance payment will be returned to the buyer.
