Creating Personal Inboxes and channels
Personal Inbox is your private space within Zoho TeamInbox, where you can configure and connect your individual email account with your account in Zoho TeamInbox. You can now manage all your individual communications from a single interface, which offers intuitive Inbox friendly features to send/ receive emails. Personal Inbox offers a lot of features like Snooze, Archive, Tags, Share Drafts etc. to help you manage your Inbox better, and also collaborate within your emails.
Steps to create Personal Inbox in Zoho TeamInbox
- Login to Zoho TeamInbox.
- Click the Plus icon in the top right corner of the left pane.
- Select Create Inbox and choose 'Personal' to create a personal Inbox.
- Provide a name for identification along with a description. Click Next.
- You can enable the option to Add 'Channel' for your Inbox or add channel later in personal inbox settings
- Enter the necessary details to create the channel.
- Click Create Inbox.
Your inbox will be created and will be listed in the left navigation menu under personal inboxes.
Creating Personal email channel
Channel denotes the mode in which you will receive and send messages from Zoho TeamInbox.
For email channels, a specific email address can be configured as an incoming email channel (medium to bring in emails) and as an outgoing email channel (sender address) either in a shared space or in the personal space.To make replies using an email address, you should set up its outgoing configuration. This will be your outgoing email channel. Set up its SMTP, verify the email address and start using it as your From address. You can associate multiple outgoing email channels with an inbox and select one while sending out emails
