PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zoho today announced the launch of Zoho ContactManager, its centralized contact management application for small businesses. With Zoho ContactManager, users can create, organize and view information about their business contacts and capture all interactions taking place with the contacts in a central place. Zoho ContactManager provides small business users an easy way to manage and distribute tasks within teams and get things done.
"Our commitment to small business users encouraged us to fill this gap with a simple, yet powerful contact manager that lets users centrally save and share contact information as well as capture all interactions with their contacts in a central place."
The new Zoho offering lets users take their business contacts with them on the go with native mobile applications for iPhone and Android. Zoho will demonstrate the capabilities of Zoho ContactManager in a webinar to be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. PDT.
"Small businesses need a simple solution to share contacts within their teams. Due to the lack of better tools or tools currently available being too broad for their needs, they end up using spreadsheets to share contacts between team members," said Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist. "Our commitment to small business users encouraged us to fill this gap with a simple, yet powerful contact manager that lets users centrally save and share contact information as well as capture all interactions with their contacts in a central place."
Contact Management for Small Business
Highlights of Zoho ContactManager include:
- All Business Contacts in One Place – All users within the business can add and organize their business contacts in one central location.
- Unified View of All Interactions – All interactions taking place with business contacts are captured in a single location. Detailed information like tasks, comments, notes and history associated with contacts (including all email conversations with contacts) are all captured in one place.
- Follow Up and Get Things Done – Users can distribute tasks by assigning the tasks to team members, track to-do items and complete them based on priority. With task templates, best practices can be shared with the team members who can follow up on the right activities and get things done.
- Share Instant Updates – When a team member has updates to share with the team, they can communicate with peers instantly with the Feeds module, where other users on the team can respond, collaborate, exchange ideas and make a collective decision.
- ContactManager in Your Pocket – ContactManager is available as a native application for iPhone and Android that lets users do everything from adding business contacts to viewing contact information, efficiently managing tasks and keeping track of recent activity with Feeds, all on the go.
Zoho's Card Scanner app for iPhone integrates with Zoho ContactManager, allowing users to scan business cards to extract contact information through their mobile phones and save the extracted contact information in Zoho ContactManager.
Zoho ContactManager is also integrated with Google Apps and will be available in Google Apps Marketplace.
