Client Approval Actions
Under Client Approvals tab, all your client approvals will be listed. A Client Approval can be submitted, approved or rejected.
Client Approval Submission
You can either submit the client approval as soon as you create or save and send it later. If you have done the latter,
- Open the Client approval and click the Submit button on the top.
- Verify the details on the submit dialog box and click the Submit for Approval button.
Approving Client Approvals
There are three ways by which a Client Approval can be approved.
From Customer Portal,

Your clients will receive Client Approvals in their respective Customer Portals. They will be available in the Timesheet section on the left sidebar.

Your client can open the approval and approve it by clicking the Approve button on the top right corner. Once your approval is approved, you will get notified within the product.
From All Timesheet tab,
- Select the time entries that have to be approved.
- Click Mark as Approved button on the top to approve them.
From Client Approvals tab,
- Open a client approval under Client Approvals tab in the Timesheet module.
- Click the More drop down and select Mark as Approved.
- Click Yes in the following pop-up to approve the client approval.
Client Approval Rejection
Client Approvals can be rejected by three ways.
From Customer Portal,
- Your client can open the approval and reject it by clicking the Reject button on the top.
- The client will be asked to enter a reason for rejecting the approval. Once it is done and the Decline button is hit, you will be notified.
- You can view the reason for the decline under Comments & History section in the Approval. You can also add/delete your comments there.
Pro Tip: You can use this comment section to exchange messages with your clients.
From All Timesheet tab,
- Go to the All Timesheet tab and select the required time entries.
- Click the More drop down on the top and select Mark as Rejected.
From Client Approvals tab,
- Open a client approval under Client Approvals tab in the Timesheet module.
- Click the More dropdown and select Mark as Rejected.
Insight: Only submitted client approvals can be rejected. To mark a client approval as Rejected, you will have to either submit it or first mark it as submitted.
