How do I add data to a project level custom field in Zoho Books?

If you have created a custom field for the projects module in Zoho Books, but that custom field is not present in Zoho Projects, you can follow these steps to add data to the custom field:

  • Navigate to the Projects module under Time Tracking from the left side bar.
  • Bulk select the desired projects.
  • Click the Bulk Update option.
  • Choose the custom field you created.
  • Enter the corresponding value for the custom field.
  • Click Save to update changes made.

On the contrary, if the custom field is already available in Zoho Projects and you have mapped the same with Zoho Book custom field from the integration page, the data will be synced automatically.
