How do I update an employee’s salary?
There are two ways in which you can update your employees’ salary.
- If you want to change the distribution of the CTC among the different salary components:
- Go to the Employees tab.
- click the employee and navigate to the Salary Details tab.
- Click the edit icon.
- Make the necessary changes to the salary components. You will not be able to change the CTC.
- Click Save.
- If you want to update the CTC:
- Go to the Employees tab.
- click the employee and navigate to the Salary Details tab.
- Click Revise Salary.
- Increase the employee’s CTC by a percentage, or enter a new CTC.
- You can also change the amount allocated for each earning and reimbursement component.
- Enter the Effective From month and Payout Month.
- Effective From - The revised salary will be applied to the employee from this month.
- Payout Month - The revised salary will be paid to the employee on this month.
- Click Save.
