How do I complete the PE-TM Binding Chain Process in the DLT portal?
According to TRAI’s latest regulations, it is mandatory to complete the PE-TM binding chain process before December 1, 2024, so that TRAI can trace the trail of messages you send your customers. If not, you won’t be able to send messages to your customers from Zoho Invoice.
The process of binding a principal entity and the telemarketer in the DLT system is straightforward. It connects the Principal Entity (PE) as the sender, along with the Telemarketer (Zoho Corporation Private Limited), telecom service provider, and telecom delivery agents.
Here’s how to complete the PE-TM registration process in DLT:
- Log into your DLT operator’s website.
- Navigate to the SMS Telemarketer tab. (This tab varies based on the DLT operator you use.)
- Click Create Chain.
- In the pop-up that appears, enter 1102631350000082951 as the Telemarketer ID and select Zoho Corporation Private Limited as the Delivery Telemarketer.
- Click Submit.
You’ll be provided with a chain ID in your DLT operator’s website with Pending status.
Similarly, obtain another chain ID for backup purposes.
Once done, submit the Chain IDs from your Zoho Invoice organization for our approval. To do this:
- Go to Settings.
- Select SMS Notifications.
- Click Edit DLT Configuration in the top right corner of the page.
- Enter the chain IDs in the DLT Registration Details pop-up.
- Click Submit for Approval.
We will verify and approve your Chain IDs within 2 working days, and you’ll be notified via email and in-app notifications upon approval. You can then proceed to approve the requests on your DLT operator’s website.
If your Chain IDs are not approved, contact us at support@zohoinvoice.com.
Once this process is completed, you can send SMS notifications to your customers with ease. TRAI will also be able to trace the trail of messages you send your customers, ensuring compliance with its regulations.
