How do I create a workflow rule that will be triggered when the status of an invoice changes to paid?

To create a workflow that will be triggered when the status of an invoice changes to paid:

  • Go to Settings in the top right corner of the page.
  • Click Workflow Rules under Automation.
  • Click + New Workflow Rule.
  • Enter the Workflow Rule Name.
  • Select a Module for which you want to associate the workflow rule from the dropdown.
  • Click Next.
  • Select a Workflow Type.
  • Based on the workflow type that you have chosen, additional fields will be displayed. You can select the fields according to your needs.
  • Click Next.
  • Select Status from the first dropdown, is from the second dropdown and Paid from the third dropdown in the Filter the triggers section.
  • Click Next.
  • Select the immediate action Type that should be triggered and the Name under Actions.
  • Click Save.

This workflow will be triggered when the status of an invoice changes to Paid.
