Subforms

When you have to store additional information of a record for example aside from students' academic and personal details, you want to keep a record of any "Extenuating circumstances", "Language Proficiency" , "Awards", and other details. You can include a subform into the layout that will act as a separate section that holds this extra information.

 

A subform is also called a secondary form. It is primarily used to store and keep additional but important details about the record within the same layout without cluttering it.

 

In this video, you will learn about subforms, when and how to use them, and how to create different subforms for different layouts.
