The challenge
When Perfect Form set out to launch their business, they needed a secure and customizable platform to handle Corporate Transparency Act compliance. With sensitive data, including personally identifiable information (PII), involved, ensuring data security was a top priority.
The team first considered two options: white-labeling existing software or building a fully custom platform. White label solutions were dismissed due to insufficient security features and a lack of control over key functionalities. Building a custom platform from scratch also posed significant timing challenges—especially with the urgency of meeting CTA deadlines—and would have delayed their market entry.

CTA compliance client portal
Perfect Form's CTA compliance client portal is designed for law firms, CPA firms, advisory companies and other business owners that need to file beneficial ownership information (BOI) reports. The platform caters to businesses of any size, from those needing to file for just a handful of entities to those needing to file for thousands.
Onboarding: The registered user submits the names and email addresses of the team members who need access. Each member then receives an email invitation to create a password and log in to their portal, along with Perfect Form's detailed onboarding instructions and reference guide.
Creating BOI reports: Users can onboard new entities either individually or in bulk. For a single entity, the user fills out an intuitive intake form with details about the entity, its beneficial owners, and its company applicants (if applicable). If a beneficial owner or company applicant is already onboarded with Perfect Form, users can quickly add them by entering their unique Perfect Form ID, a 6-digit number automatically assigned to every individual onboarded on Perfect Form's platform. The portal also allows users to submit incomplete information, automatically triggering a notification to the individual requesting the required details.
For bulk onboarding, users can upload a dynamic Excel template containing multiple entities' information. This template adjusts automatically, highlighting only the necessary fields based on previous inputs. Once submitted, the data will be reviewed, and users will receive an error report before finalization.
Secure communication: The portal features a secure Notes section for users to communicate sensitive information or requests directly with Perfect Form, streamlining the communication process and ensuring confidentiality.
Dashboard and reporting: The portal's dashboard provides an overview of all onboarded entities, including their status and whether the entity's BOI report has been filed with FinCEN. Users can access a comprehensive list of entities and filter them by various criteria, making it easy to manage large volumes of data. Each entry includes detailed information and a unique ID for successful filings.
Ongoing compliance support: Perfect Form continuously monitors reported information, easing the burden of ongoing compliance. The platform periodically notifies users of ongoing reporting requirements and facilitates seamless communication to address any issues that may arise.
