Cisco Webex Integration with Zoho Calendar

When you create or edit an event in the Zoho Calendar, you can also add conferencing to the event with a Cisco Webex conference. When Conferencing is added, a meeting will be created in Webex and the conference link will be sent to the mailbox of the attendees.

To allow the use of the Cisco Webex conference from the Zoho Calendar, you need to authenticate the same from the Zoho Calendar.

Steps to authenticate Zoho Calendar to integrate Webex conference

  1. Log in to Zoho Calendar.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Calendar > Integrations.
  3. Click on the Configure option in the Cisco Webex card.
  4. Select Authenticate and provide the credentials to authenticate Zoho Calendar to use Webex conference.
  5. Click on the checkbox 'Allow this app to use my shared access permissions' and select Allow.
  6. You will see the 'authenticated successfully' status, and your Webex conference account will be shown.
  7. On the Cisco Webex Integration card, enable/ disable the toggle switch to display/ hide MS Teams from the Add conferencing drop-down in the Create/ Edit event tab.
  8. Upon successfully verifying your credentials, the Cisco Webex conference will authenticate Zoho Calendar to schedule conferencing.
  9. You can proceed to create a new event/ edit an event and choose Cisco Webex conference as your preferred conferencing tool from the 'Add conference' drop-down in the Create event/ Edit event tab.
  10. To unauthenticate, navigate to Settings > Calendar > Integrations > Cisco Webex. Click the remove icon. The Cisco Webex conference account will be unauthenticated from the Zoho Calendar for use in scheduling conferences.

Note:

In Zoho Calendar, conferences using Webex cannot be created for

  • All-day event
  • Past events
  • Ongoing event
