Flows
Overview
Flows help you to visualize the path a user takes to interact and navigate within the app. Sankey flow diagrams are used to represent the user path during the selected timeframe visually.
In Apptics, you can analyze flows either based on Screens or Events.
Since the flow is based on Screens or Events, make sure that the Screens and Events data is available in the console. You can visit our SDK guide to complete the integration with Apptics SDK.
- Navigate to Engagement > Flow.
- You will see on overview of the user journey for your app. By default, Screen-based user journey will be shown on the dashboard.
- Select Events or Screens from drop-down to view the flow for the selected date range.
- You can further drill-down by using the other filter options provided. You can use the number of flows, app versions, device types, and country.
- Enable the Backflow toggle button if you want to view the user retraces or backward flow in the user journey. Backflow shows the instances where a user has visited the previous screen or event in the user journey.
NOTE: Screens and Events are updated every next day for Flows. Any changes in the Screens or Events traversal that happen today will reflect the next day in the Flow.
